A Face of Death

I’ve been on the upswing since getting sick. However, today I felt like I was dying. Please forgive this short post.

The monster had no lips to hide its teeth or the flailing limbs stuck between them. A head, impaled upon one of these long, needle-like fangs, still had enough of a rotting face to look out in horror, look out in perpetual horror, never once being covered. Dripping down its chin was the remnants of blood, blood that was mixed with salivating drool, of the latest victim. It was nearly all mouth; more so, it was all teeth, only teeth and the darkness behind them.
