Short Poem: My Red Car

(Just a warning, read this with a smirk).

Will you come with me?
Jump into my car?
Come run, let us flee,
and follow a star.

Can we entwine fates,
us two become one?
Come travel the states
—we’ll settle in one.

If fifty’s too few,
then Europe’s prepared.
It’s old, but there’s new;
Bright rockets have flared.

I’ll fly you to Mars,
and Venus in time,
but here is my car,
my rhythm, my rhyme.
